Henry Hore

Queenslander, Henry Hore is one of Roar’s most deadly attacking weapons, providing a constant threat with his energy, dribbling ability and eye for goal.

Equally adept playing out wide or more centrally as a ten, Hore grew up in Nambour on the Sunshine Coast, where he played for Sunshine Coast Fire before spending time in the youth set up’s of both Brisbane Roar and Perth Glory, winning Y-League Player of the Year with the latter in 2019.

In 2019 the midfielder returned to Queensland with Lions FC where he went on to win the 2020 NPL Queensland Grand Final and scored 16 goals in 36 games. A move to the NPL Victoria with South Melbourne FC followed, with his strong performances and goal-scoring prowess earning him a first team opportunity back at the Roar.

Hore was awarded Brisbane Roar’s Young Player of the Year in his first season at the club. He went on to establish himself as one of Roar’s key attacking player’s in 2023/24 and finished as the sides equal top scorer with seven league goals.

Hore spent the first half of the 2024/25 season on loan with Korean K.League 1 side, Gangwon before returning to Brisbane where he scored three goals in 12 appearances.

Hore is the club’s equal all-time highest Australia Cup goalscorer alongside Thomas Waddingham and Cyrus Dehmie with four goals from ten games in the cup. Hore is also the club’s ninth all time A-League highest goalscorer with 17 top flight strikes to his name.
