Growing up in Nambour on the Sunshine Coast, Henry spent his childhood playing for Sunshine Coast Fire in his local region.

He then moved into Brisbane Roars u18 program, before quickly being promoted to the Roar youth team. In 2018/19, Henry completed a move to Perth Glory’s youth team, where he was training full time with the first team.

In 2019/20, the attacker was back in Queensland for Lions FC in the NPL. After a short stint in NPL Victoria with South Melbourne FC, his strong performances and goal-scoring prowess earned him a first team opportunity back at the Roar.

Henry was awarded Brisbane Roar’s young player of the year award following the 2021/22 campaign. He went on to establish himself as one of Roar’s key attacking player’s in 2023/24 and finished as the sides equal top scorer with seven goals.

The midfielder is on loan with Korean K.League 1 side, Gangwon until January 1 2025
