Hosine Bility

Hosine Bility, a natural ball playing central defender who has represented Australia at U23 level arrived in Brisbane on loan from Liga Portugal 2 side, Clube Desportivo de Mafra ahead of the 24/25 Isuzu UTE A-League season before the club made the deal permanent, signing the Olyroo on a 2-year-contract for an undisclosed fee at the conclusion of the campaign.
Bility played 23 matches in his first season in the A-League, winning 79.3% of his tackles, while his 6.2 clearances per 90 were only bettered by Lucas Herrington for Roar throughout the 2024/25 campaign.
The Guinean born defender, who moved to Australia aged six and grew up in Adelaide played three matches for the Olyroos side who reached the Semi Finals of the 2022 U23 Asian Cup in Uzbekistan.
Bility also represented Australia at the West Asian Football Federation U23 Championship alongside Thomas Waddingham in Saudi Arabia in 2024.
After impressing in the NPL South Australia as a teenager with Croydon Kings, Bility earned a move to Danish Superliga side, FC Midtjylland where he initially joined the club’s U19 side and featured in the UEFA Youth League.
Prior to signing a five-year deal in Portugal the defender spent time in Icelandic top-flight on a short-term loan deal with Fram Reykjavik.
