Biography

Young Matildas midfielder Kiera Meyers arrives in Brisbane ahead of the 25/26 Ninja A-League campaign following two seasons at premiership-winning Melbourne City, where she was an injury replacement in 22/23 before earning a two-year scholarship deal.

Born in Minnesota, Meyers moved to Melbourne with her family in 2021, where she played for Southern United FC before joining the Emerging Matildas program for 18 months. This led to the exciting attacking player with plenty of pace and ability to change a game becoming a train-on for Melbourne City before signing her first A-League contract.

Meyers who has previously worked with Roar Head Coach, Alex Smith during their time at City played for the Junior Matildas at the 2023 Asian Cup Qualifiers and has also been involved in Young Matildas training camps.
