Biography
Talented Queensland attacker, Kijah Stephenson is set for a big 25/26 campaign as she returns from an ACL injury that saw her miss the entirety of last season.
The mercurial forward from Bundaberg joined the club in 2022 before going on to make 27 appearances and scoring four goals across two seasons before sustaining an ACL injury in NPL Queensland action with Olympic and was unable to play in the 24/25 season due to her rehabilitation.
Stephenson made her return to action in recent months with the FQ Academy QAS program in the NPL where she scored three goals in five appearances.
Stephenson burst onto the scene with Sunshine Coast Fire in 2017, before continuing her impressive streak at the NPL level with the QAS where she made 32 senior appearances across the 2019 and 2020 seasons, while earning NPL Team of the Season and Young Player of the Year honours. She has also represented Brisbane City and Olympic at NPL level.
