Young Socceroos forward Nathan Amanatidis who can operate out wide or through the middle, arrived at Roar on a two-and-a-half-year deal in January from Sydney FC where he made 14 Isuzu UTE A-League appearances, scoring 1 goal in the AFC Champions League.

Amanatidis, who came through Adelaide United’s youth system before making the switch to the Sky Blues, burst onto the scene with his performances for the Joeys at the 2023 AFC U17 Asian Cup where Australia reached the Quarter Final stage.

The electric attacker, who excels in one-on-one situations scored twice and assisted another, putting himself on the radar in Australian football circles.

Amanatidis who has also represented Australia at U20 level made his Brisbane Roar debut against Wellington Phoenix at Sky Stadium in Round 18 and went on to make 10 appearances in his first season in Queensland.

The forward unfortunately missed the entire 25/26 campaign after suffering a quad injury whilst on international duty with the Young Socceroos at the 2025 U20 FIFA World Cup in Chile.
