Sharn Freier
11 Attacker
Sharn Freier first signed for the Roar in 2020, where she made nine appearances and scored her first professional goal in a 6-0 win over Melbourne Victory.
Unfortunately, her momentum was halted as she suffered a major knee injury the following season and spent an extended amount of time sidelined.
Freier re-signed for the Roar again ahead of the 2022/23 season. She continues to be an impressive ball carrier and is a constant threat when taking on defenders.
Freier enjoyed a breakout 2023/2024 season which saw her score 3 goals and grab 5 assits.
She was rewarded for her efforts with selection in the CommBank Matildas’ international friendly against Mexico in April, where she came on as a late substitute in the second half to make her debut and is now earning regular call-ups.
Freier is back for the 2024/25 Ninja A-League season on a multi-year deal with her hometown club.
