Biography
18-year-old Thomas Waddingham’s stock rose massively during Roar’s 2023 Australia Cup Final run, where he scored four goals, including one in the final.
This feat earned him a call-up for the young Socceroos where he scored goals against both Denmark and the Netherlands.
Originally from Cairns, Thomas was brought into the Roar academy after being identified in 2019 at a Talent Support Program (TSP).
Thomas scored his first ever Isuzu-UTE A-League goal on 12 November 2023 against Central Coast Mariners and looks to continue his goal-scoring form.
