Brisbane Roar continued its pre-season fixtures with a 7-0 win over NPL outfit Moreton City Excelsior FC at South Pine Sports Complex on Tuesday night.
Justin Vidić opened the scoring after finding the back of the net from inside the box before Michael Ruhs charged towards goal and put one away from the angle to make it 2-0.
James McGarry put his name on the scoresheet after slotting the ball away at the near post just before half-time.
A brilliant cross from Milorad Stajić landed in the box for Justin Vidić to pounce on the deflection to score his second of the night and extend Roar’s lead 4-0.
Ivan Ozzi scored his first pre-season goal for Roar after a corner from Pearson Kasawaya found him in front of goal for an easy finish.
Trialist Justin Poon beat Moreton City defence and confidently found the back of the net to make it 6-0.
The night concluded after a successful penalty was taken by Ivan Ozzi to seal a 7-0 victory at Brendale.
