Brisbane Roar is pleased to announce the signing of youth international Emin Durakovic ahead of the 2026/27 Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s season, with the 20-year-old joining the Club on a 2-year deal.
Durakovic arrives at Roar following his development through the Melbourne City academy, where he progressed from the youth ranks into the senior set-up and made his A-League Men’s debut. A left-footed versatile midfielder capable of operating centrally or in wide attacking areas, Durakovic brings creativity, technical quality and mobility to Michael Valkanis’ squad.

A product of the national youth pathways, Durakovic has represented Australia at youth level and is regarded as one of the country’s promising young attacking talents.
Sporting Director James Gow said, “Emin brings youthful exuberance, hunger, and a lot of potential. We’re confident Brisbane is the right place for Emin to kick on now, and we’re delighted to have him on board.”
Head Coach Michael Valkanis added, “Emin gives us another dimension in the final third and in central midfield. He can play in a few positions across the front and midfield, he’s mobile and comfortable on the ball, and he wants to make things happen. He fits the way we want to play and I’m looking forward to working with him through pre-season.”
“I’m excited to sign with Brisbane Roar. This is a club with a proud history and passionate supporters. I am determined to achieve success with the club and help bring the Roar back to where they belong, at the top.” said Emin
