Brisbane Roar continues to build its strong community focus ahead of the new 2010/11 Hyundai A-League season.
Just over a month is left before the Roar begins the new campaign and the squad are using much of the remaining time meeting the local football family.
Michael Theoklitos, Matt Mundy, Luke Brattan and club mascot Roary joined in the excitement at the Westfield Garden City-s Football Fever.
However, it was not just the men-s team getting into the community spirit as Brisbane Westfield W-League players Alice Wellingham, Michaela Hatzirodos, Emily Gielnik, Katrina Gorry, Alisha Foote, Karla Reuter, Monique Koefed and Katrina Gorry helped kids beat the holiday blues.
The Brisbane players battled on the Sony Playstation 3, joined the fun on the fusbal field and helped promote the club-s ‘Red Card Racism Today- campaign.
The Brisbane players also signed autographs and posed for photos while Roary kept everybody entertained with his usual fun-loving antics.
Defenders Matt Smith and Luke DeVere were the next players out-and-about in the community, helping the North Lakes Football Club promote its 5-a-side carnival.

And Thomas Broich, Andrew Redmayne and Henrique wandered amongst the stalls and festivities of the Go Between Bridge Opening Community Festival.
From the club-s marquee, the trio met fans, signed autographs and continued the Roar-s strong stance on ‘Red Card Racism Today-.
