Brisbane Roar returned to winning ways on Sunday night with a 1-0 victory over Wellington Phoenix at Perry Park.
In a scoreless first half that saw the Phoenix dominate most of the 45 minutes, goalkeeper Olivia Sekany pulled some great saves to deny the visitors any chances.
It was none other than 17-year-old Grace Kuilamu to open the scoring in the 62nd minute, scoring her fifth goal of the Ninja A-League season with a marvellous header off a flying corner from Tameka Yallop.
20-year-old Tanaye Morris will be content with getting some match minutes after coming off the bench in the 88th minute.
Brisbane Roar head south to face Western Sydney Wanderers next Sunday as they look to continue this winning form on the road.
