Brisbane Roar aim to finish NPL QLD season strong

Brisbane Roar’s NPL side will face third-placed Moreton Bay United on Sunday at A.J. Kelly Park as they aim to finish their season with strong results.

In their last meeting, Moreton Bay came out on top with a 3-1 victory. The boys in orange will be determined to get a different result on Sunday to come away with three points.

With only three rounds remaining, Head Coach Owen Baker is focused on winning the next three games with strong performances.

“We want to finish the season with three wins, that goes without saying. We have done a brilliant job to avoid relegation this year, but our focus will always start with performance,” Baker said.

“If we control our performance and how hard we are willing to work for each other, we have a chance to do well,” he added.

The squad will be training hard in the lead up to their clash against Moreton Bay as they strive for the win.

“Moreton Bay are one of the toughest teams in the league to play against, we must be ready for this one. I wasn’t happy with our performance last time out, we had more in us. But we will train hard and do everything we can to be ready,” Baker said.

KO is at 6pm at A.J. Kelly Park. Be there to get behind your Roar!
