Brisbane Roar NPL out for points against in-form Rochedale Rovers

Brisbane Roar’s NPL side take on Rochedale Rovers this Saturday night at Underwood Park where they will aim to return to winning form.

The Roar sit in eighth place and go up against a fifth-placed Rochedale in pursuit of three points to get the squad back on track.

Roar have been putting in great effort each week so will aim for this effort to be reflected onto the scoreboard on Saturday.

Roar NPL Head Coach Owen Baker sees the positives from previous challenging matches as he believes they act as great experiences for player growth.

“Our boys are on a long football journey, all of these experiences are brilliant for their development,” Baker said.

Baker is gearing up for Roar’s match-up against Rochedale, awaiting a good challenge for the squad.

“The beautiful thing about football is there’s always a game next week, Rochedale have been flying recently so it’s a great team to test ourselves,” he said.

“I know as a group this weekend we will be eager to put in a great performance, and if we do that, along with some luck, we have a chance of winning.”

KO is at 6:15pm at Underwood Park. Be there to support your boys in orange!
