Caletti extends on one-year deal

Brisbane Roar are delighted to announce that versatile midfielder Joe Caletti has signed a one-year contract extension through until the end of the 2024/25 Isuzu UTE A-League season.

The 25-year-old first joined the Brisbane Roar in 2016 after impressing in the FFA Centre of Excellence where he was twice Player of the Season.

Caletti captained the Joeys at the 2015 FIFA Under-17 World Cup in Chile before signing with the Roar to further his development.

He played over 30 games for the Brisbane Roar over three seasons before embarking on an international opportunity in Norway where he completed a stint with Florø SK.

The midfielder returned to the A-League in 2020, joining Adelaide United on a two-year contract where he featured in over 30 games.

In 2022, Caletti joined Tochigi City in the Kanto Soccer League in Japan, where he scored three goals in his 11 appearances.

Caletti played a key role in the midfield before sustaining an ankle fracture that saw him miss the back end of the 2023/24 season.

The midfielder started in 16 of the 19 games he played and made 2 assists throughout the campaign.

Caletti looks forward to continuing his career in Brisbane and helping bring success back to the club.

“I believe that it’s an exciting time to be a part of the club and I’m very proud to extend my time here,” Caletti said.

‘I’m really looking forward to playing in front of our loyal fans once again and help contribute to a successful season.”
