Brisbane Roar are delighted to announce that defender Deborah-Anne De La Harpe has re-signed for the upcoming 2024/25 A-League Women season.
After joining Roar from Danish Women’s League club HB Køge in December, De La Harpe quickly became a regular starter in the squad, making 13 appearances and scoring her first goal in orange in Round 20 against Adelaide United.
De La Harpe has previously played for Perth Glory and was part of Sydney FC’s Championship-winning 2022/23 season.
The 24-year-old has represented Australia and the Republic of Ireland at under-19 and senior levels, earning her first senior international call up in February 2023 as a late inclusion to the Irish squad during the FIFA international break.
“I’m excited to re-sign for Roar this upcoming season. It’s such a great club with high ambitions and I really wanted to come back to be a part of that and build off last season with Alex,” De La Harpe said.
“I’m really excited for the season ahead and for what we can achieve as a team and club because I know it will be great. I’m also looking forward to seeing our amazing fans as well,” she added.
“My goal for this upcoming season is to win. It will be great for us to build off last season and get to the finals and I have no doubt we will achieve this.”
