Brisbane Roar are delighted to announce that Japanese midfielder Momo Hayashi has signed a one-year extension that will see her at the club through until the end of the 2025/26 Ninja A-League season.
After signing from NPL QLD club Gold Coast United, Hayashi brought her goal-scoring flare to the A-League with four goals and two assists in just twelve appearances, including a brace in Unite Round and two unbelievable strikes in Round 7 and Round 8.
The exciting midfielder set the Ninja A-League stage on fire before sustaining an ankle injury recently that has kept Hayashi sidelined for the past month.
The 29-year-old is excited to have committed to the club for another season and looks forward to contributing to the club’s success moving forward.
“I’m very excited to extend my contract,’ Hayashi said.
“I’ve really enjoyed my time here so far, and I have confidence that I can play my style in this league.”
“I’m recovering from an injury at the moment, but I’m working hard to get back on the field! I can’t wait to play in front of our amazing fans!”
We look forward to seeing Momo back on the field, and in orange for many seasons to come.
