Solorzano played a key role in Brisbane Roar’s first ever Hyundai A-League Premiership and Championship in the 2010/11 season, scoring 11 goals while on loan from Costa Rican club Alajuelense.
Known as ‘Nico’ to his teammates, Solorzano spent a year with Melbourne Victory then Puntarenas before re-joining Brisbane Roar in the January transfer window in 2014.
At the end of the 2014/15 season, the Costa Rican striker had made 54 Hyundai A-League appearances for Brisbane.
