Matchday Guide: Anzac Day

Anzac Day is almost upon us.

A momentous occasion that is proudly embraced by Brisbane Roar as we deliver one of the few national-level sporting spectacles held across Australia on what is a sacred day.

This special matchday is proudly brought to you by our Principal Partner ActronAir and Charity Champion Legacy. Together with our partners, we look to #LeaveALegacy this Anzac Day.

With the fixture unable to be staged the past two seasons due to Covid-19, the club has been looking forward to this day for a very long time.

Not since 2019 have we had the privilege to play on Anzac Day, and it doesn’t get much bigger than Melbourne Victory at home.

Brisbane Roar is proud to be supporting the not-for-profit organisation Legacy Australia this Anzac Day.

We’ll be raising funds and awareness for the great work they do in providing essential assistance for veterans’ families.

To do your bit, simply bring a gold coin and drop it in a Legacy bucket at the venue entry gates.

Legacy will also be raffling off a signed BRFC kit for $5 a ticket. See the team at their marquee, located at Gate 2 to enter the raffle. The Raffle will be drawn at half time of the main game.

See your Brisbane Roar Legends take the park in orange once again as they take on a combined Queensland Police Service and Australian Defence Force outfit.

Entry to the pre-game curtain raiser comes under your membership or purchased ticket for the main game.

Our special pre-match Anzac Ceremony will be held between the two matches.

Be there as we pay tribute to those who have sacrificed for our country.

Traditional commemorations will include renditions of The Last Post, The Rouse, and the Australian and New Zealand national anthems.
