Brisbane Roar will travel west for their inaugural FFA Cup match, drawing Western Australian club Stirling Lions in the Round of 32.
Stirling Lions, the reigning National Premier Leagues WA premiers, drew the rights to host the three-time Hyundai A-League Champions at today-s draw at Fox Sports studios in Sydney.
Brisbane Roar Head Coach Mike Mulvey embraced the challenge, ahead of the club-s pre-season start next week.
“I-m sure it will be a massive occasion over there and we-re really looking forward to it,” Mulvey said.
“I-ve always loved the romance of a cup competition and with pre-season kicking off on Monday, we-ll be doing everything right to prepare ourselves in the best possible way for this match.”
The dates, kick-off times and venues of all FFA Cup Round of 32 matches will be confirmed this Monday, 30 June.
