Brisbane Roar NPL will take on Lions FC tonight at Luxury Paints Stadium as they aim to return to winning ways.
The Roar currently sit seventh but are within points of climbing the ladder, and having lost two of their last three games, will be hungry for a victory against Lions.
Lions FC sit fourth on the ladder and will look to make it two wins on the bounce against the Roar after taking the three points in a 1-0 triumph in their last meeting.
“Lions are a great club and team and have already strengthened in the transfer window. I expect a very tough game but our boys are hungry to bounce back with a great performance,” Roar NPL Head Coach Baker said.
“The boys have been working so hard and performing well. We need to make sure we don’t make mistakes and give away easy goals, and show our identity and personality in our performance,” he added.
Baker is not focused on cracking the top four at this stage in the season, with his primary focus being to work with his squad to improve and grow them as players.
“We aren’t thinking about top four, we are solely concentrating on improving our performances and developing these great young players to be ready for future challenges and exposure to A-League coaches.”
KO at 8:15PM after the U23’s at 6:15PM.
