Thomas Broich is arguably the Hyundai A-League’s best import, winning two Johnny Warren Medals for Player of the Year (2011 and 2014). He has won Brisbane Roar’s Gary Wilkins Medal for Player of the Year three times (2011, 2013 and 2014).
After arriving in Australia in 2010, Broich wasted no time at all slotting seamlessly into the Hyundai A-League, quickly becoming one of the competition’s most dangerous players with his sublime footwork, pinpoint crosses and endless energy. The German is widely regarded as one of the best foreign players to ever play in the Australian competition.
