Amali Kinsella
18 Defender
A product of the FQ Academy QAS program, Amali Kinsella signed a short-term injury replacement contract with the club in February 2025 and made her A-League debut in Round 17 action against Sydney FC at Leichhardt Oval before earning a two-year scholarship deal ahead of the 25/26 season.
The Queensland was selected in the CommBank Young Matildas squad for the AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup Thailand 2026™ Qualifiers held in Tajikistan in July and August.
Born and raised on the Sunshine Coast, Kinsella grew up playing at Caboolture FC in an all-boys’ side, coached by her father. At age 16, Kinsella moved to Football Queensland’s elite women’s youth program (FQ Academy QAS) where Kinsella continued to excel.
The Queenslander first starred for Brisbane Roar in a 24/25 pre-season match against the Queensland Women’s State Team, where she netted a second-half brace.
