Reigning two-time NPL Queensland Player of the Year, Austin Ludwik joins Roar on a deal through to the end of the 2024/25 Isuzu UTE A-League campaign from Gold Coast Knights where he captained the side to two NPL Premierships & Grand Final victories.
The central defender also captained the Queensland State Team that faced Roar before beating Victoria in the battle of the State’s in 2024.
The Queenslander, who played his junior football for Burleigh Heads, Palm Beach, Merrimac and Bond University, has previously been part of the Roar’s NPL program playing for the club between 2014 & 2016.
Ludwik, who’s leadership qualities, aerial ability and passing game has made him a standout at NPL level made his A-League debut against Wellington Phoenix at Sky Stadium before going on to make six appearances in his first season at the club.
His strong showing across those matches earned the defender a one-year extension for the 25/26 Isuzu UTE A-League season.
