Biography
21-year-old Queensland born attacking midfielder, Keegan Jelacic, who has represented Australia at U23 level is on loan at Brisbane Roar from Belgian Pro League Side, KAA Gent,
Jelacic joined Roar in January, making 11 appearances, picking up three assists and scoring his first goal for Roar in a 5-1 victory over Melbourne City in the 2023/24 season before extending his loan for a further year in July.
The midfielder made his A-League debut for Brisbane and is a BRFC Academy Graduate earned a move to Europe after a break-out 2022/23 A-League campaign with Perth Glory last season, where he established himself as one of the competition’s most exciting young players- scoring two goals and bagging four assists across 22 appearances in the West.
Jelacic signed for Belgian Pro League side, K.A.A. Gent before spending the first half of the 2023/24 season on loan in the Norwegian top-flight, where he made eight appearances for Stabæk Fotball.
The midfielder extended his loan in Brisbane for a second season ahead of the 2024/25 A-League campaign and netted his second goal for the Roar in an Australia Cup clash against Perth Glory in July.
