Biography

Sister of CommBank Matilda’s forward Sharn, Brisbane City midfielder Laini Freier will join her twin for the upcoming 2024/25 Ninja A-League season.

Freier won the NPLW QLD Championship and Premiership plate with Brisbane City after a 2-1 win over Lions FC on the weekend. She scored a total of seven goals this year, including a goal in the Semi Final and Grand Final, both assisted by her sister.

The talented Queensland midfielder played her junior football at Moreton Bay United before joining the Roar Youth squad and winning the NPL Grand Final in 2018.
