Milorad Stajic

Bosnia and Herzegovina Youth International and FC Basel academy graduate, Milorad Stajić arrived in Brisbane on a two-year deal ahead of the 25/26 Isuzu UTE A-League season.

The midfielder immediately established himself as a fan favourite for Michael Valkanis’ men with his passion, hard-working mentality, high technical ability and strong defensive qualities. Making six appearances as Roar enjoyed a strong start to the A-League season before having his debut campaign cut short by a hamstring injury.

The defensive midfielder signs from Serbian SuperLiga outfit, FK Radnički Niš, where he played more than 40 matches across two seasons. Along with this, Stajić is a product of Swiss giants, FC Basel’s academy set up and also spent time playing for Serbian side, RFK Grafičar Beograd. He has also represented Switzerland and Bosnia and Herzegovina at youth level.
