Ruby Cuthbert

Born and raised in Fremantle, WA, Cuthbert started her football journey at Fremantle City in the Boys Academy before joining Murdoch University Melville FC’s Women’s team and spent time at the National Training Centre (NTC) in WA.
Ruby is part of the Junior Matildas and in November 2022, she captained the Australian U17 Women’s team in a match against South Korea.
The teenage defender made her professional debut in the 23/24 campaign, making five appearances in her first top-flight campaign before an injury interrupted 24/25 saw Cuthbert restricted to just two league appearances.
Despite the setback, the talented Junior Matildas defender who’s potential remains undoubted inked a new two-year deal keeping her at the club through to the end of the 26/27 Ninja A-League season.
