ALW R18 Fixture Update: Brisbane Roar v Melbourne City

Kick-off for Saturday’s Liberty A-League showdown between Brisbane Roar and Melbourne City at Perry Park has been pushed back due to heat.

Based on the latest weather forecasts, the Australian Professional Leagues’ (APL) in consultation with the club has delayed the start of this Saturday’s match, with the game now set to start at 5:00pm AEDT.

Under the APL’s Heat Policy, the weather forecast data for the Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) and Ambient Temperature (AT) are currently predicted to be over the threshold at 3:00pm (AEST) for Perry Park.

Given this, the decision has been made to delay the start of the contest to ensure both temperatures fall under the thresholds as set out under the APL’s Heat Policy.
