Brisbane Roar Head Coach Mike Mulvey will field an unchanged starting eleven for tomorrow night-s Hyundai A-League Harvey Norman Friday Night Football match against Adelaide United at Coopers Stadium.

With goalkeeper Michael Theo needing another week on the sidelines to recuperate from a shoulder injury, last weekend-s debutant Matt Acton will again play between the posts while Liam Miller will make his return from a six-week injury stint off the bench for the Roar.

The Reds haven-t won a Hyundai A-League match since round one almost eight weeks ago and Mulvey said their desperation for points would make it difficult for his side in the South Australian capital.

“They-ve not had the results that they-ve wanted, they-ve got some fantastic individual players and I admire the way they try to play football,” Mulvey said.

“It-s tricky because they-ve got great desire and they-ve got a demanding crowd.

“But we-ve got high standards of our own and we demand a good performance from ourselves, individually and collectively.”

Adelaide has adopted a new style of football under new Spanish coach Josep Gombau and boast the highest possession figure in the Hyundai A-League this season (61.3%), marginally in front of Brisbane (59.2%), despite their run of poor results.

“I don-t know whether it will be an open game but I know what our approach will be,” Mulvey said.

“If they-re playing out from the back, we-re going to try and press them very, very high and we-ll try to win the ball back in our final third and look to take advantage of that.”

The Roar has won six of their opening eight Hyundai A-League matches in the current campaign with their only two losses coming away from Suncorp Stadium.
