Biography
Exciting Young Matildas defender Isabela Hoyos joined Roar ahead of the 24/25 Ninja A-League season on a scholarship contract, making her debut in Round One aged just 16 before going on to make eleven appearances in her first top-flight campaign.
The talented Queenslander came through the Football Queensland QAS program before joining Roar performances earned her a new three year deal, keeping her in Brisbane until the end of the 27/28 Ninja A-League season.
Hoyos has represented Australia with the Junior and Young Matildas, most recently playing in the 2024 U-17 Women’s Asian Cup Indonesia, alongside fellow Roar teammates Ruby Cuthbert and Grace Kuilamu.
