Jay O'Shea
26 Midfielder
Irish Stalwart Jay O’Shea, is one of the A-League’s Premier midfielders – the Roar Captain is one of only eight players to reach 150 league games for the club and has twice been selected in the A-League All Stars.
Jay’s quality, experience and commitment over the years have made him a mainstay for the orange. Alongside Thomas Broich he is the only player to have won the Gary Wilkins Medal three times, he has also won Player’s Player in all of his six seasons at the club.
O’Shea has established a reputation as one of the competition’s best midfielders and has finished as Roar’s top goal scorer in two of the last three A-League seasons.
Previously, Jay played for Sheffield United in the Championship, MK Dons in League One and Bury in League Two, however, spent most of his playing career at Chesterfield in League One. He has also represented Ireland at u19, u21 & u23 levels.
