Biography
Irish Stalwart Jay O’Shea has notched over a century of appearances for Brisbane Roar. He is also a senior member within the squad and vice-captain to Tom Aldred.
Jay’s quality, experience and commitment over the years have made him a mainstay for the orange and black. He earned the Gary Wilkins Medal & Player’s Player award for the 2020/21 and 2021/22 seasons. Jay also received the Player’s Player award in the 2019/20 season.
Previously, Jay played for Sheffield United in the Championship, MK Dons in League One and Bury in League Two, however, spent most of his playing career at Chesterfield in League One. He has also represented Ireland at u19, u21 & u23 levels.
