Australian star Tameka Yallop has spent over a decade at the Roar and returned ahead of the 2023/24 season. The 33-year-old boasts an impressive resume and brings a wealth of experience back to Brisbane.
After her first tenure at the Roar, Tameka ventured abroad with stints at Boston Breakers, FFC Frankfurt, Mallbackens, and Klepp IL.
She moved to Melbourne City for the 2018/19 season but came back to Brisbane in 2019, however her impressive performances caught the eye of English Powerhouse West Ham United and spent a season there in 2021.
Along with a notable club career, Yallop is a veteran in the Matilda’s squad, boasting 117 appearances for the green and gold. She was a part of the team that won the 2010 AFC Women’s Asian Cup and has represented Australia at the last five world cups (2023, 2019, 2017, 2015, 2011).
