Tameka Yallop

CommBank Matildas and Brisbane Roar legend Tameka Yallop is an icon of the game at local and national level as well as the club’s all time record appearance holder and highest goalscorer.
The midfielder had an incredible 24/25 season that saw her overtake Clare Polkinghorne for the most caps in club history after playing her 153rd Roar match in Round 3. In a standout season, Yallop also became the second all-time goal-scorer in league history, the first player to score five hat tricks, whilst also becoming Brisbane Roar’s all-time women’s goal-scorer.
Yallop has a wealth of experience under her belt, coming from international stints at the Boston Breakers (USA), FFC Frankfurt (Germany), Iga F.C. Kunoichi (Japan), Mallbackens (Sweden), and Klepp IL (Norway).
Yallop moved to Melbourne City for the 2018-2019 season before returning to Brisbane in 2019. She later departed in 2021, to take up an opportunity at English powerhouse West Ham United before joining Brann (Norway) in 2022.
Across her more than 130 caps for the Matildas, Yallop has also claimed the AFC Women’s Asian Cup in 2010, AFF Womens’ Championship in 2008, Tournament of Nations in 2017 and the FFA Cup of Nations in 2019.
