SAVE THE DATE – Your Brisbane Roar will officially launch the club's exciting 2021/22 campaign on Saturday 30 October 2021. The Roar's talented A-League Men's & Women's sides will come together at DFO Brisbane Airport for a two-hour event from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. The event will be located at the Skygate Dining Precinct next to DFO. Entry is FREE! Roar’s FFA Cup Round of 16 match details confirmed

Brisbane Roar's much-anticipated FFA Cup Round of 16 clash against Lions FC will be held at Lions Stadium, Richlands on Sunday, 24 October, Football Australia confirmed today. The match is scheduled to commence at 3:30pm AEST with broadcast coverage live and free via 10 Play. The Roar will be aiming to win through to the Quarter Finals for the first time in the club's history after beating Peninsula Power 3-0 at Moreton Daily Stadium last month.

The A-Leagues name Isuzu UTE Australia as first ever naming rights partner for Men’s competition

The A-Leagues today announce the signing of Isuzu UTE Australia (IUA) as the first naming rights partner of its men’s competition, which will be officially known as the ‘Isuzu UTE A-League Men’. The three-year partnership marks the latest milestone in the A-Leagues’ ambitious growth and commercial development strategy. Commencing with the upcoming season (2021-22), the partnership also includes naming rights of the A-League Men’s Finals Series and becoming the Official Automotive Partner of the A-Leagues’ Men, Women, Youth and E-Sports Leagues.

McElligott realises Roar ‘dream’ with A-League Women’s deal

Brisbane Roar has brought more attacking firepower into its A-League Women's squad by signing prolific forward Meaghan McElligott. The versatile Western Pride captain returns to the top tier of Australian football after spending a season with Canberra United in 2018. Having starred locally for the likes of Gold Coast United, Souths United and Logan Lightning before and after that experience, McElligott said she had long targeted a chance to pull on the orange shirt.

Brisbane Roar has continued its homegrown recruitment drive with the signing of Queensland Future Matildas program member Lanni McDougall. The teenage midfielder makes the step up to the A-League Women's competition after impressing in development programs and as a leading light for Moreton Bay United. McDougall has scored eight NPL Women's goals this season and said she felt "super excited" when Head Coach Garrath McPherson offered the opportunity to join the Roar.

New signing Matti Steinmann believes Brisbane Roar are making strong progress on the pitch as they get set for a six-week sprint towards the new season. The midfielder joined five team-mates on the scoresheet in a 6-0 friendly win over Capalaba FC on Wednesday night. The match provided more valuable minutes in the legs for Warren Moon's men less than two months out from their A-League Men's opener against Melbourne City on 19 November.

The versatile full-back becomes Garrath McPherson's 12th confirmed squad member having forged a formidable reputation as one of the state's standout players. She has chalked up more than 60 NPL Women's appearances across three campaigns and memorably scored the winning penalty in the Queensland State Team's triumph over New South Wales in the Watson-O'Connor Cup in 2020.
