Brisbane Roar supporters will have the chance to snap up Suncorp Stadium’s best seats at affordable prices after the club released its membership campaign for the 2010/11 Hyundai A-league season.
Attracting new supporters and rewarding loyal existing members, the new look membership makes a welcome return to a pricing structure embodying all football fans.
Best of all, this season-s membership inclusions will give Brisbane fans access to behind-the-scenes features, making every member feel a part of the day-to-day running of the club.
Supported by the ‘We are one. We are Brisbane- promotion campaign, this season-s membership is already a key feature of the plan to return Brisbane – supported by its great home crowd – to the top of the Hyundai A-League.
“Our fans are the most important aspect of our club and that is acknowledged right throughout the club,” Brisbane CEO Peter McLennan said.
“We-ve gone through a lot of changes both on and off the park in the offseason and there-s a lot to be excited about for next season and beyond for our fans.”
A back to the future pricing structure from previous seasons, Roar fans have never had a better opportunity to support their heroes without burning a hole in their pocket.
Pricing across the different categories has decreased on average by 28%, while more than half of the seated membership options are cheaper than the 2008/09 season (based on a per game basis).
This season, a single adult can attended a Brisbane match from as low as $18 per game and gain access to breaking club news, coaches corner (direct updates from Ange Postecoglou) and other exclusive membership offers.
Children – the future of the game – can claim a seat from just $10 per game and join (free of charge) the exciting Orange Army Junior Brigade.
While families will now have a great opportunity to enjoy a day at the football, with the Roar opening the brand new family zone and offering family prices from just $50 per game (family of four).
The new pricing structure is another example of the club listening to the community and building a club owned by the hearts and minds of its supporters.
“We-ve listened to our fans and we-ve worked hard on our membership and ticketing prices for the coming season,” McLennan said.
“We-ve restructured our pricing to be affordable to our great fans who can now enjoy their football live at the best football stadium in the country”.
Roar coach Ange Postecoglou said he hoped this season-s membership campaign would entice every local football fan to the ‘world class- Suncorp Stadium.
“It-s a great stadium but it-s even better when there-s a full crowd,” Postecoglou said.
“We want our home to be the best stadium with the best atmosphere.
“We want to turn the stadium into a place where opposing teams may enjoy coming to, but leave with nothing.”
And Postecoglou said he was confident his new-look squad, playing an exciting brand of football, would pack Suncorp Stadium to the rafters.
“We have the potential to be up there with Melbourne and Sydney as the highest attendances in the league,” he said.
“And that-s our challenge.”
